Alfred Price, Age 22
Private, 39550, 1st Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.
Alfred was the son of Thomas Price of Horsehay.
He had originally enlisted into the KSLI (3254) before being transferred to the Worcestershire Regt with whom he serving when killed in action on the 4th September 1918 he lies buried in the La Targette British Cemetery in grave III.C.1.

Alfred in 1911 was living at 21 Station Road, Brandlee, with his father
Thomas and mother Catherine also three brothers and two sisters, he was
reported wounded on 01/09/1917 War Office Weekly Casualty List 05, and
again on 11/06/1918 War Office Weekly Casualty List 46.
